Buying and Sourcing

INTICEDE BSD sources products or factories after a stringent process of evaluation, shortlisting and compliance checks. Client satisfaction is of uppermost importance for us, hence we ensure that you are provided with nothing short of the best. We also have a keen eye for the unusual and thus we also discover and showcase products that are out of the ordinary. This helps our clients carve a niche for themselves.

We help you source raw materials such as fabrics, laces, elastics, trims and other accessories to finished products. We also help our clients with forward or backward integration by helping them with sourcing and buying of required machinery. For bigger manufacturing units we also help finding right partners to enter joint venture deeds for forward and backward integrations.

Vendor Selection

INTICEDE BSD has an array of vendors catering to diverse needs of the intimate apparel industry. We shortlist and connect vendors according to product specifications, order placements and terms and conditions. We have an internal assessment process for all vendors and we choose vendors that are in synch with our clients’ requisites.

Our partnered factories follow all compliance procedures implemented such as ISO, SA 8000, WRAP, OEKO TEX, SEDEX, GOTS and REACH Compliance. Our suppliers also possess their own knitting, dyeing, printing and embroidery divisions and infrastructure.

Price Negotiations

We understand that business engagements can be derailed at the price negotiation stage.

Product Sampling

Prototypes and samples are often the one phase that can cement a business association. We develop designs and prototypes as per client’s requirements and provide for fit testing and trails. In our sample room, one could find the latest collection of raw materials to finished products which acts as a ready reckoner for our clients and buyers.

Product execution

As per INTICEDE BSD’s protocol, we ensure that samples clients view, review and submit their feedback about samples, before we commence the actual production for each product. We also follow a strict plan of action that incorporates timelines and action points needed from either side. The INTICEDE BSD team retains close contact with factories in order to facilitate seamless production. Our processes are predefined and followed in details.

Laboratory and Testing Services

We carry out all kinds of mandatory and compulsory quality analyses and checks. We have a number of reputable laboratories who we closely work with to follow stringent testing measures. INTICEDE BSD offers technology packages comprising all, but not limited to the following:

1) Testing colour fastness across varieties and light.
2) Instructions on fibre content and labelling.
3) Testing for flammability (Vertical / Inclined).

Logistics and Shipment Follow-Up

INTICEDE BSD also takes over the responsibility of following up on the status of your logistics and shipment. We ensure that all documents provided by a supplier are checked thoroughly before they are submitted to the bank for its perusal.

INTICEDE BSD also provides consultation with regard to the type of container that is to be used, shipment methodologies, and follow-ups.
